AA294 is a unique graduate level seminar course that aims to give students a practical perspective on aircraft design from the practitioners and experts in the field. The presentations take the form of technically rigorous briefings and program reviews on real-world projects and historically significant aircraft. Past speakers have come from large aerospace companies like Boeing, Airbus, Northrup Grumman, Embraer and General Atomics to smaller startups and consulting firms like ICON, Swift Engineering and AeroVironment. The seminar has also drawn extensively from the academic and aviation enthusiast communities to provide a truly diverse perspective on aircraft design and engineering.
The seminar will be held on every Wednesday from April 1st to June 2nd from 2:15 to 3:45 pm in 380-380C (Math Corner).
